A story told by a white head who lives under the "WHITE HOUSE".

A chick of a tailor-bird couple one day came out of his swaying cradle and sat between his parents on a strong branch of a mighty banyan tree and after having his lunch which comprised of two rare and bulky insects, he said to his mother ,
" Mumma, have you seen I came flying to you? From now on I will fly as you do. I am strong, isn't it?"

"Yes my son, you may fly and should fly; but don't go far. At the beginning, make a round around this tree once a day and that too when we are here."

The next day when the gleeful and lighthearted couple (for their son has come of age) left their nest and flew afar in search of a substantial breakfast, particularly for their growing up kid, the chick, in an adventurous mood, took off his first flight and braved a little long distance in such an extent of  excitement that his inexperienced wings could afford. He felt exhausted soon, and was in quest of a tree but as there was none of such a kind, he began darting down like a string-torn kite and somehow managed to put himself up on a slender, lanky, shoot of a weed which could no longer stand erect and upright. This bizarre scene not only stunned him but also helped him realize his self esteem so highly that he again flattered his wings and started flying high and low till he reached the great banyan tree and caught hold of a twig laboriously enough and hopped under the leaves to step into their nest.

He waited for a long time - for the day seemed longer - for his parents to come back for he felt very hungry and very excited too, to tell about what he had done early that morning.

The day really ended in a sweet tune for him, for his parents returned hilariously with two fat, green grasshoppers for their lone darling's dinner.

Having finished his stomach-full dinner, the chick told his parents the story of the day and drew the conclusion saying:
" Mom, Papa, now you cannot deny how strong am I."
His Mom in reply said, "
"The poor weed never ever fancied a dream that an 'Eaglet' one day might swoop down and keep his mighty talon on his feeble shoulder."
