দাদু ভাইয়ের জন্মদিনে

একী অনির্বচনীয় মায়া !

আমারই এ অন্তরের ছায়া,

দেখি আজ ওই চাঁদমুখে।

মনে হয় থেকে যাবো চিরদিন,

যুগে যুগে নিত্য নবীন,

আবেগে, সম্ভোগে, দুখে আর সুখে।‌

অলীক কল্পনা নয় জন্মে জন্মে আসা,

মিথ্যা ‌নয় হৃদয়ের প্রেম, ভালোবাসা,

অবিচ্ছিন্ন থেকে যায় রক্তের বন্ধন।

তুষারঝড়ের রাতে, নিষ্পত্র যে লতা,

অবরুদ্ধ আশা তার, অবলুপ্ত কথা,

বসন্তের ফুলে ফুলে নূতনেরে ‌করে আমন্ত্রণ ।।

তেমনই রইব আমি পূর্ণপ্রাণ -- নিভৃতে নীরবে,

স্মরণের বাসররাত্রে তোমাদের মিলন উৎসবে ।

Illusion! Do not you call it so.

I could see, in the depth of your eyes,

My own soul reflecting.

And that sows in me an undying belief --

Here'll I be forever as the ☀ sun

That's reborn in the every morning.

Reincarnation is not a dream untrue.

Love, that oozes out from inside the breast,

Such outbursts of emotion, knot of blood -

Are affinities inter- penetrative between you and me. 🙋

The creeper, bare leaves, which seems lifeless,

In frosty winters, bears hopes and bliss

In her frozen veins and that bloom as🌸blossoms

When appears the spring darling.

I'll be, my heart, in you, though unseen,

And laugh in your laughter, sing in your songs

On all the days of celebrations - joyous.
